Where I come from !

Having initially trained as an electronics and industrial computer engineer, I worked for 21 years in the field of embedded software to develop alarm systems for professionals.

Starting out as a software developer, I worked my way up to become a project manager.

In the later years of my tenure with the company, I focused more on software development for PCs and servers, specifically for managing and receiving data from alarm communication products.

In 2018, I decided to make a change in my life and leave behind the world of electronics, transitioning into the field of IT.

I joined an ESN where I currently work as a project manager.

However, software development remains a passion of mine and I am always curious about technology, continuously seeking to learn, test and experiment to better understand and master the latest trends and techniques.

Technical skills 

I won't delve into my skills in the field of electronics, as it's an area I want to leave behind me, at least in terms of product development.

However, I do have a product development background that allows me to understand hardware and business challenges and accompany you on your projects.

I am always eager to learn and improve, and have acquired and enhanced my skills in software, web, and DevOps. Below is a brief overview:

Due to my background in connected products and hardware development, I have a broader understanding of communication constraints and protocols that can be used for your projects.

I don't limit myself to developing your web interfaces or project management sites. I am capable of offering a complete technical architecture for:

• Receiving and communicating bidirectionally with your products, whether through standard protocols (e.g. HTTP, MQTT), proprietary protocols (over TCP), or third-party reception portals (e.g. LoRa, Sigfox)
• Storing your data in SQL or NoSQL databases, or in a time-series format
• Displaying and utilizing your data in interfaces tailored to your needs
• Geolocating your information if necessary
• Dockerizing your solution for simplified deployment and better compatibility with your hosting
• Supervising your services with alerts and notifications.

I can also bring my skills in technical specification writing to the table, to translate your business and project needs into technical requirements.

As an IoT and Business Application Project Manager, I have gained experience in understanding the technical aspects of client industries and translating them into technical specifications, functional requirements, and technical architecture documents.

My services are not limited to development only, but also extend to the necessary documentation for your projects.
